What would be the point? The WB cars already have OEM options for sideskirts.
This is to create custom options for NB cars which do not have OEM sideskirt options

Thanks for the explanation.

1. Cost
2. Options
3. Eh, you get the point.

I'm adding this to my summer project list. I love how it turned out. I'd like to see yours in person at some point since you're local. I'm up in Gwinnett.

This may be a dumb question but would something like this work for a 991.2 base?
I find the sides could have a little more to them as I have put on the sports design front lip.

I'm not sure if putting on a 991.2 would require any sort of modification like above.
I think the 991.2 GTS has these on them, but understanding the rear of the car is wider than the base.

Thanks
I haven't checked this specifically, but from what I've seen it should be a much easier mod than for the 997.2. ( unfortunately it's not a direct fit because on the 991 series the rwd cars have a different underside sill than the awd cars for which the skirts are made )

Someone should just sell this as a direct bolt on kit for the 997. I’m sure the less skilled people like me would pay extra for their labor for a bolt on side skirt.

Revision #3 added to pg 1 of the thread (initial post).
Now includes custom designed front end caps for the side skirts.

Think those end caps up front just make the whole project perfect. Great finished, professional look!

Are the end caps something readily available and repurposed for this project? Or custom fabricated? If fabricated, they look very, very well done!

Thanks
I designed the end-caps from scratch (CAD) as there was nothing out there off-the-shelf that could fit the purpose. Then produced the parts with an Industrial 3D printer using the same type of plastic as OEM.

Those caps look great! Are they something you might offer for sale to those wanting to give this same project a try on their own cars?

Absolutely, albeit on a limited basis. Already shipped one set to a fellow Rennlister.
Will send you a PM.
