Momo Prototipo installed - 997.2
Wanted to share some pics of my newly installed Momo Prototipo steering wheel! I also included one to show how it was before for reference.
BIG thank you to nwGTS for the following thread and to Jossue for his contribution. Without their input it would've been impossible to get rid of the airbag warning light and also keep the horn working.

I also want to mention the amazing job from Manuel (eBay and Rennlist user mcv911) with the fabrication of the gorgeous custom horn button.
I couldn't be happier with the end result

Looks great! Have you considered perhaps adding a black billet FF **** to complete the look?

I want to tell you loosing the airbag is wreckless for safety sakes but I just can't.... the wheel looks amazing and great old school like tribute. Your car looks top notch, keep modding!!!

Thanks for all the compliments!
@mickfluff - Agree 100% with your suggestion for the next mods. I just need to find a shifter that I like. Since installing the new steering wheel, the oem shifter now feels like a plastic Russian doll (the big one). I might go with the Rennline pedals first and then maybe the other things that go on the footwell.
I'm also going to install the oem stainless steel door sills (not illuminated).
Here's another pic that I took today that gives a better overall perspective:
Edit: added to original post.

I'm currently installing exactly the same thing but having a problem fitting the momo adaptor of all things. It fouls on the plastic part arrowed below. I've looked and spoken to everyone I can and they are all telling me I have the correct hub #8017. What hub adaptor did you use?
Thanks
Thanks
Sorry couldn’t find the part number, but I do remember that they had to file down a piece of plastic to avoid the metal part of the hub from rubbing against it

I bought the one from Rennline (http://www.rennline.com/OMP_Momo-Ste...oductinfo/I62/)
