Update: Local P dealer selling warranty from CNA National Warranty Corporation and they say they are easy to work with on claims. Its defiantly expensive than others. Any one had any experience with CNA?

READ THE FINE PRINT.

I recommend against extended warranties. They are truly developed by bean counters, and they ain't got your best interests in mind.

I foolishly got an extended warranty on my 997S Cab back in 2006 and now have 104,000 miles on the car. The characters at Easy Care made money on me.

These cars are fundamentally very sound. Few things go wrong with them. Since many 997 buyers don't drive their cars much the infant mortality issues never get sorted out and the next guys wind up paying for what Porsche AG should be paying for.

Sometimes it works out, I got my 2009 C4S in October and had it in to get a X pipe installed in December....ASG noticed that I had crusty coolant on the pipe that connects the water pump to T stat housing..Turns out the cost to get all fixed was about 3800 dollars, which included a new ignition switch while I was at it. I paid 2100 for my Extended care at carmax....so I've made out already. Most of the cost was labor, as the pipe and gaskets was only 300 or so. BUT lots of things had to come off to get to it for the switch out.

Got the PPI done at roadscholars of Durham, NC. They are great!!!. It turns out everything is good. Computer code shows no overrevs etc. After all research, conversations, suggestions...I'm not considering the aftermarket warranty and keeping that money for a rainy day!!.

Aaron at roadscholars told me "you have got an excellent car, enjoy it". I will sure going to do that every day!!!

Thanks All.
