Thanks for posting. Hershey was a total bust for me because I got there around 1pm and it was raining and most of the vendors were packing up or had already left. The amount of P-cars I saw traveling away from the event as I was driving toward it should've been a tip off.

It's not just the sights at Hershey, but the sounds. There comes a point in time when people are leaving, and it seems like a Porsche is firing up every few seconds, and with so many variations, they all sound different. Neat.

mk85911 your right it wasn't just the sights of seeing all the pcars. Some cars sounded incredible. Really it was about all the Porsche owners that came to the event in their cars. One after another rolling in going up the aisle and pulling into the Porsche only lot. The assembly of all these cars in one location was amazing.

This was my first event with my new to me 911 (yellow 997 in photos). I've gone the last 4 years and when the weather is perfect there is a huge number of cars attending. I usually get there at 7:30 AM so I can watch and hear the cars come in.
This was also my first time driving a 911 in the rain, as the rain started just as I was heading out. Not scary like driving my 98 Camaro SS or my 63 Impala in the rain in the past. I just had to tell myself over and over "it's just a car, the dirt will wash off." I still have some mental adjustments to make transitioning from a show car (sold) to a weekend driver after 17 years of the former.

We had 18 cars drive down from Toronto. 2 days driving and about 1400kms - epic!!
There are a bunch of pics and a video of some of the driving on the Rennlist Canada page. After having not seen an LEO in the last 2 years we ran across a few LEO's on our spirited run up one on the Penn turnpikes we hit each year!! No harm was done!
Great event!! Don't have much use for the rusty parts laid out each year and its all about the drive and the people.
