Default Do we have a DIY on belt tensioner replacement for a 997.2

Done the search but all I see is for the 997.1. The 997.2 it seems is a lot simpler but it's best to get ideas from those who have experience. Maybe our more experienced brothers can share...

Hahaha dgj I'm sure those pics show how it's done. I just need to find out how to open them... It's all question marks showing. Change of format perhaps... But I would like to thank you already for sharing...

with our friend, dgjks6's info, the replacement of the belt tensioner for the 997.2 can be done in 30 minutes or less. With the right tools, a stubby torx bit, it should not be a problem for the avg diyer.

Glad it worked. I figure if I order a set of the stubby torex bits now my tensioner will never go bad.

I just paid around $800 to an indy shop to replace mine (3 parts)...
