Just did mine this winter, the cam cover is a real pain to get to in these cars! Here's my thread on what is involved, check to make sure it's not still leaking after a week or so. My leak was a missing O-ring that seals the bottom of the spark plug tube, but it initially looked like the cam cover.

the tech said it was a real pain with a long list of parts and steps. 12.5 hours billed

Spark plug tube leaks seem to be more common

they ruled this out the first time in

second time they confirmed it was cam cover, although i suspected valve cover

time will tell

Sorry for the REALLY belated post but how did the Autonation included 60 day warranty work out?
I am looking to purchase a Cayenne from them and am worried about the transfer case. I will get it checked out but the paperwork suggests it will be covered if it fails. Any experience here?


Since this is old I may need to start a new thread somewhere. Sorry if this ends up cross posted...
