Default 997.2 factory alarm

Does your factory car alarm go on while your 997.2 is locked up in your garage?

This has happened to me several times now in the past few months. What can I do to stop the false alarm?

2010 C4S ... no problem until 3 months ago. 3 times since then the alarm has gone off in the office parking lot. It seems to happen as the sun rounds the corner of the building. A Lotus from my past had this problem with temperature change and its fiberglass body creaking causing a glass breakage alert. I don't know the why for the 997 alarm, yet.

Shut off the interior monitor (two quick pushes of remote when arming) and see if that resolves the issue.

Thank you jhbrennan looks like that did the trick. No false alarms now for almost a month since I hit the remote twice.
