Default Calipers brought back to life with powder

Good morning folks.

We had a client visit us with his 997 for full paint correction, Modesta body coating, ceramic tint and paint care education a few months ago and while here he expressed a desire to have his calipers newed with powder coating and a rebuild. Of course we obliged.

We offer turn-key solutions for all of our services. This project consisted of a restorative detail service and the caliper powder coating. The brakes were broken down completely, powder coated and rebuilt with new OE Porsche parts. The brake system was flushed to ensure no debris could find its way into the system. Feel free to reach out to me via PM, email or a phone call if you have any inquiries or questions.

Anyways, moving onto the fun stuff...

The white "PORSCHE" logo is not a decal, it is powder coating.

When he arrived we had this thing staring at us:

The final product:

They look great. Were they yellow previously? There are indications of other paint application as these are non-S calipers.

The yellow you see looked like stuff sitting up on top of the calipers, but not paint. And once they were removed, there was no other yellow hiding where one would imagine if they were painted.

I do not believe they were ever painted before but I can't be 100% because he just got the car and it was used. If I were a betting man, I would say they had not been painted previously.

Though, now that you bring it up....
He brought up painting them yellow and ask my opinion. I expressed that I thought it was one thing to paint them red VS painting them yellow on a Porsche as the yellows are designated for the PCCB's. He agreed and went with this.

Looks great, but I would have started with a set of second hand S/PCCB calipers rather than put more money into base calipers

Those are very different looking than my non S base model calipers. Curious if anyone knows the difference between those and mine?
