Can somebody recommend a reputable company/person who can do a pre-purchase inspection in the Sacremento California area? The car I'm looking to get inspected is a2007 997 Turbo.

Tough to find in CA due to liability laws. The 4-5 places here in the Bay Area stopped doing them couple years back. If you find someone, post here, please.

Yeah, I used these guys last year. Two cars. Identified issues on one and recommended another. Did it all by phone and email. Has Worked out well - my shop in SF re-verified. But, yelp review not strong but I'd give 5 stars based on my two inspections.

Most, if not all will say no. The answers ranged from 'It ties up a rack from us doing repair work' to, 'we dont want the liability if we miss something'.

The caviat being if you are a current customer and they know they will be getting the future service business from you.

I would still see if Niello would do it. Its not like the other places would give you money if they missed something and it failed later.
