What's a 2005 997 C2 worth with a blown motor?

lets do the math.
A 997.1 gt3 is going to run about $70k, rough guess.
Let's say he gets $10k for the roller.
Thats $60k price delta.
What kind of car could one build with $60k?
drop in a flat 6 4.0 track spec engine. About $35k.
New coilovers, and misc supsnion parts $10k?
for $45k he could have a car that would match a gt3 and keep the rear seats.
Something to think about.
Resell wont hold but if what you want is a track car.

Depending on the condition of some of the items, you could easily make more than $6,500 parting it out yourself. If the wheels are good, they're worth $1,000-,1,500. Seats are worth $1,000-$2,500 depending on what they are - if carbon buckets a lot more, then door panels, lights, airbox, body parts plug anything Aero like a ducktail, GT3 front bumper, etc.
if it were mine I'd talk to Jake Raby about building a track specific motor for $25k and MOD the suspension for $10,000 (coilover, RSS, TPC DSC, etc)
