I found this car here in Texas, I think it's a fantastic deal for someone out there.

Well - since you asked:

First off it's a Tip. So - no thank you.
Second - high miles for the price.
Third - those wheels. Wow. And painted black. Worse
Fourth - the wart. Not a fan

I like the silver and red combo. I like the aero kit. I even like the 4 S (although its not what I would prefer if shopping).

Could be a good daily driver with the tip, but the aerokit makes the nose tough in steep driveways - ask me how I know.

And I would change those wheels. again...wow.

I don't think too many people are in the market for an automatic transmission 911.

I see so many Tips and would never think of buying one. I just don't understand buying a Porsche with a Tip. Might as well buy a Corvette or Mustang.

This.

But I have another question I've been wondering about. I also really dislike the rear wing. What kind of hassle is it to replace the rear deck [not sure what you call the rear engine trunk cover].

Thats the GT3 Aerokit wing. Wouldn't be hard to replace - but just buy a car without the aerokit!!

Nice color on the car.
Can't say about price as I haven't researched 997.1 prices.
I wouldn't buy a tip. But to each their own.
The wheels are not good, nor the color on them. Easily remedied, and to each their own.
For 45k a 997.1 does not make any sense. You could get 997.2 for the same money.

For example. Similar color. PDK instead of tip. Lower mileage (significantly). Lower price. Newer car. Less hideous wheels.

Well, i disagree with all the previous comments. The exception might be the wheels. Black does work with silver, but i may have gone with a dark grey.

Tip is just fine, especially if you deal with traffic. If you want an auto, get an auto.

The mileage is completely reasonable.

The price is high. About $5k too high in my opinion.

So you disagree with MOST of the comments. Because you partially agree with the wheels comments and you agree with the price comments.

I had a 2013 Mustang 5.0 before I got into my C2S with Tip. Trust me when I say this, I would take the Tip any day over a Mustang. Don't forget you are still getting an excellent handling car that easily goes above 155 MPH (Mustang cannot, only 140), phenomenal braking, great looks, comfortable driving position (Mustang had no telescopic steering wheel) and a beautiful Porsche badge to go along.

The car looks stock which is a big plus in my opinion. Opinions about colors and options are too personal to be of any value to a buyer.

Agree the price is high for the miles but not outrageous considering the natural leather interior, adaptive sport seats, and aerokit. If the car has a documented service history and passes a PPI (including scoping the cylinders) it could be a good buy with some aggressive negotiation.

Sorry.
Disagree with just you.

The wheels are not that bad.
