Wow...thank you for all the suggestions.
Yes, option 1 is def the best of all 3.
All 3 vehicles are manual transmission, my only way. As for other options, i really didn't have much of restrictions, besides the interior: Must be beige/tan.
I did test drive few, unfortunately I still havent tested a 991. As per each time i drive a 997.1 and 997.2, ...997.1 feel lighter, more mechanical, somewhat even more precise. Too bad i wouldn't sleep well given the known issues for 997.1
Anyway...thank you so much! I will post photos as soon as get the vehicle.

Congrats and I would pick option 1 too, however I suggest you test drive the 991 just to have some basis of compare between the two very different 911. Make sure you get a PPI and negotiate accordingly.

Generally, 997 is more raw, more mechanical, more noise inside the cabin, and not as luxurious, 991 is a better daily car, more comfortable, and more electrical than mechanical. You first need to find out which of the two fits your needs, then can pick the best option amongst 991s, or 997s.

I would go in order 1. 2. 3.
These cars shouldn't be the same price, a 997.2 4S with under 10k miles should cost significantly more than a 997.2 base with 51,000 miles (the black edition is nice but doesn't really add value).
If you are daily driving and prefer the more refined 991, I could see an argument for #2, but I'd choose #1 all day and it sounds like that is what you are doing.
Cant wait to see pics!

Option #1.
I dislike both the look and drive of the 991 vs. the 997.2
Now, I would do a 991 GT3 over any of those options... So I am not completely biased.

Option 1 but check the maintenance records to make sure things were kept current. To me, 7000 miles on a 6-year old car is borderline suspicious...that's few enough where the owner may not have thought to keep up with the maintenance schedule or at least to give it an annual inspection, etc.
At the very least, I would get the 997.2 now and take a look at the 991.2's in a few years when they start hitting the used market. 991.1 base could already be considered obsolete by release of the 991.2 base. In a few years, I think we'll find the 991.1 regarded much like the 996...great value for the money but overshadowed by the 991.2/997.

Buy the one that's going to depreciate the least... Right now the 991's have some aging left in them and therefore have not hit there rock bottom in price. The 997's for the most part seem to have somehow stabilized in the market and you can get them for a great price and drive the hell out of them.
