Default Considering 2012 Turbo S Cab - questions

I may have an opportunity to purchase a '12 Turbo S cab at a really good price from a friend. It would replace my wife's BMW 335 IS.
What are the problem areas that will eventually need to be dealt with on this iteration? Seems like most cars have some known problem areas, any on this version? Thanks, Dave

of course with any car, have a dealer inspect it, get the service history, do car fax. it doesnt matter if your mother owned it, you are responsable for it if you buy it
I would ask on the 997 turbo section about troubles

Not really problems per se but things to consider.
1 - has the older 997-2 central wheel bolts that are a pain at times. Care is required to ensure all splines lock as they are designed. 991 design is much improved.
2 - has PDK, which I personally think is the right transmission for the TTS, but with it comes all the love and hate of the PDK, namely maintenance and repairs (many threads on these lines).
3 - so easy to get yourself into trouble on the streets with the TTS - too damn fast for its own good. Torque is highly addictive; add massive HP and it is a drug you just can't shake.
4 - cabs may lead to skin cancer so wear a hat.
