RH front tyre going into ABS all the time
Hi all
Having a problem with the RH front tyre going into ABS too fast all the time. I have a track setup, with -2 deg in front, PFC08 pads all round. Brakes have all been bleed several times with no air.
Caliper pistons checked by hand for sticking, all coming out evenly when I press the brake pedal so I'm thinking no caliper issue.
The pads have just been replaced, so possibly haven't shaped themselves on one side yet?
However when I put the front of the car on the local MOT fitness testing station the fronts are showing equivalent braking force, albeit at low speeds.
Tyres swapped side to side, no difference.
My question is, is this a common thing? Do the sensors pack up to do this or is there anything in the ABS system to cause this? I can feel that wheel lock up on the road, so it's a real event, but it's way too early. It's like that wheel is coated in grease. but swapping tyres side to side did nothing.
Thoughts?
