Default Did today

put them in today. I'd add a big screwdriver to the list of tools. Needed it to push the upper carrier enough out of the way to insert the FF. otherwise, it went OK. About 2 hours. Taking off and putting on the covers takes as much time as the rest of it. Liquid soap helped. Definitely easer with 2 as the transmission had to be raised and lowered.

I think the shifting is smoother, but it may be just like a newly waxed car running better. Worth doing.

Thanks for posting the review!

The more you push the car, the more you'll feel the benefits - positive shifter engagement and immediate chassis response in fast transitions.

There's no break-in period per se, but you'll likely find that some of the increases NVH will dissipate a bit over the first couple weeks as the mounts fully seat themselves, combined with just getting used to the "new norm".

Installed the orange with a Numeric Shifter and cables.

Love the outcome and money well spent.

Extremely happy with the yellow (sport) inserts in my 2009 C4S! Handling, acceleration, and shifting all feel more solid and direct. Some NVH (rumbling and vibration) at idle, but no noticeable increase in NVH when the car is moving.
