Default 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera won't Start

2007 911 Carrera Won't Start
Ok so I filled the tank with premium gas from a local station and drove
home on Sat night. On Sunday I go out to my Porsche 911 it won't start.
-- New Battery within last 15days- should be rock solid
-- New Starter within last 15days -- should be rock solid
-- I am very new to Porsche 911 owner club -- my 1st one

Symptoms:
-- Cranks and wants to start:

-- I can flutter the gas pedal a little and bring the RPMs up briefly before it peters out....can't fight my way back to running.....

It seems like it's running out of gas (a guess on my part). After
reading around a bit.......

-- Bad DME Relay? Does a 2007's have DME Relay's going bad at all? It seems kinda early for one to fail? I don't mind buying one to have an
extra.....if I need one.....I read I could tap on the DME Relay and
maybe get it , it to start have not tried that yet.

-- Bad Gas? Been to this gas station many times with multiple cars
never had an issue......but there is always a 1st time..........I hate
to empty a full tank.......uggghhhh

-- Bad Fuel Pump? Where is the Fuel Pump on a 2007 911 Carrera?
I can see what looks like a circular access panel next to the battery
but that looks kinda sealed up to me........Is that the right location?
I could try listening to see if I can hear it pump -- but where do
I point my attention to to listen to the pump going? I think
I need a picture......anyone have one?

Error messages on dash? Usually, but not always pop up when out of gas or bad fuel pump. Something like low oil pressure, or visit mechanic. Oil pressure is odd, but it can pop up.

Did you get really low on fuel before filling up? But I guess pump/relay are suspects.

definitely acts like a fuel problem. check the fuel pressure. have someone listen at the fuel nozzle to see if they can hear the pump run.

The car was 1/2 full of premium gas from CostCo, I refueld from 1/2 to Full
at a local gas station national branded station but I don't recall the name of the place just now

unplug your MAF and start car. if that cures your ills, there's your problem. if it cranks/keeps cranking but doesnt start at all, i would look at crank position sensor.

More than likely and most probably, bad fuel pump. The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank which is located below the battery FWD of the stereo.

Default found it

Thanks for the MAF suggestion. So I could hear a sucking sound,
checked the Air Intake tubes and found that there was a hole in
the one on the right side due to the big hose clamp slipped off
and it cracked big hose spacer(sorry not sure what the
actual name is I don't have a schematic for the 997.2 yet). So I think once that is fixed I am back in business I decided to order two new of those super short hoses in case the hard formed rubber had sort of aged a bit and become a tiny bit brittle. They are coming from Germany in 4 weeks (my luck I guess). In the mean time I will plug the gap with some duct tape
and put that on the top so the heat won't affect it. I wish more
spares were stowed in the USA.
