I just finished the restoration of the Driver's Adaptive Sport Seat (opt. P01) in my car. The reason why I did it was the driver left (entry side) bolster was loosing its shape.

When I started the project, I thought only the lower foam cushion has to be replaced, but when the upholstery store (Albo in Mundelein, IL where the P, MB, BMW dealerships repair their cars too) discovered the outer (contour) back cushion was close to be replaced...so, why not to change the center back cushion as well? Total until that moment: 3 Foam Cushions.

Unfortunately, replacing the seat cushions in a P-997 require to also get a new set of four heater elements because they are glued to the foams.

So...for all of you who want a "Like New" Adaptive Sport Seat, please find attached below the part list for a 997.2 with heat:
