Default Painting my bumpers Lava Orange

My bumpers just look tired so before I get another car out of boredom, sooooo I thought why not paint them Lava Orange like Sharkwerks along with my Ultraleggera HLTs? Car is Arctic Metallic Silver. Thinking center console too in LO and clear coating it, since it's beaten up in my opinion.

My buddy quoted me 3200$. Sounds steep. I'm removing and installing.

Anyone know what realistically this will run? Thanks.

why not just do a wrap first, much cheaper to see if you like it before spending 3200

Just the bumpers would about 1/3 +/- of the paint quote, which is a reasonably cheap alternative.

Plus, IF you ever want to sell the car, it may be a little more difficult to find a buyer with the bumpers painted.

You need a new buddy. Ive spent $1,200 a panel on my old Testarossa at a concourse quality Ferrari shop in Los Angeles......and that was off the street retail. Low end is $500 a panel, Mid around $800 and High is $1,200ish. If you take in the bumpers off the car, with a mirror, to color match and normal prep, a friend should charge you $1,200 for both MAX. Thats plenty to cover materials, labor and a some profit to your friend.

The infamous "Porsche" tax....save the money and put it towards the new 911 you are looking to get.

If you're bored, go shop for it!

Bored with a silver car I'd rather put orange wheels.

Or green stripes.
