Thank you semicycler again. Well I got continuity on the brown/grey wire. Then I took apart the frunk and located the PSM module and wiring harness. That thing is a beast and I hove no idea which pin is #36. Also I don't think I want to be messing with the wiring harness, I'm afraid I'll break it instead of repair it.

So after spending the better part of the day removing the center console and the frunk it looks like I am going to have to bring it to a repair shop.

I'll likely take it to the Porsche dealer since they may have better diagnostic tools for chasing down electrical problems than the local specialty repair shop.
