I have a 2011 Carrera S, PDK. When I put in to sport plus it take
a high rpm before it shifts. I had a 2017 Boxster S that shifted normal
and have a 2017 turbo S that shifts like I think it should, low rpm's
Am I doing some thing wrong or is there something wrong with the car???

Supposedly, S+ is a track mode for use with paddles.
What you want is just Sport mode in everyday driving.
Try it with the PASM in normal mode. You will be pleased (I think).

Sport plus in automatic mode will give you optimal shift points for a track mode torque and power band. Thus the up and down shifts will occur to give best performance. Hence the rpm points of these shifts will be at higher rpms in the 4000 range
