Default New front bumper needed

Prior owner of my 2006 997 C4S (black) made some mods to front bumper I don’t like (cut out the horizontal part near the radiator intake) What is the best/cheapest way to get a nice, like new one? Here are my options as I see it:

Option 1 - buy junker on eBay and get it refinished and repainted and DIY
Option 2 - wait for clean 997 bumper to show up on eBay or marketplace and DIY.
Option 3 - take it to body shop and let them handle it all.

Any other websites I should look at for parts?

Any other ideas on best way to approach?

Your getting hit with prep and paint no matter what you do. Try to find an aftermarket or some upgrade. You might as well do exactly what you want wether its stock or not. I imagine the original is trashed. I bet it's cheaper and faster to find a used oe one instead of remaking that gill out of fiberglass or something.

There’s one for sale here in the Rennlist marketplace for asking price of only $600 in almost perfect condition. Thing is that it doesn’t have the little holes in front of the headlights to accommodate the headlight washer pop ups (prob came off a base car without the bi-xenons), but maybe you can have those drilled.

Just get a Aerokit bumper while you can! Great look, well priced!

I thought about going this route, but as they even say on the Suncoast site, if you add this bumper, Porsche recommends you also add a fixed wing as this will change the aero balance of the car at high speed, making it feel less stable. I don’t want to add a wing. Weirdly, I’ve spoken to someone who added this bumper (without adding the wing) and they say at speed, the front feels lighter as opposed to the rear feeling lighter which is what I would have thought would be the case.

I have the stock bumper from my car that I wouldn't mind selling. I removed it when I did the aero front.
