top won't go down dash message
 

Anyone seen one of these messages before, attached pic, did a search and nothing conclusive. I'll take to dealer tomorrow meanwhile I was dreaming there was an easy fix, I just got this car and would love to put the top down!

Just try to cycle it back to the up position again. Sometimes one little thing will cause it to stop, but if you cycle it back (as if to raise it) it will clear. These cab tops are fairly bullet prove. Far more reliable than anything from the past.

I had success eliminating the error message by lubing every hinge in the top assembly with a spray lithium grease.

Let us know what your dealer reports.

Dealer found electrical connector not fully engaged. Secured calibrated and now all better! Covered under warranty too!
