Default PDK Clunk

So I have a 2009 4S. Last night I noticed when I shift from park to reverse, to neutral, to drive, and back again, each step has a serious clunk. I didn't notice any other issues with the transmission while driving but this makes me a bit nervous. I'll post a video later today if I can replicate the symptoms, but I was curious if anyone else out there has experienced this?

The car is CPO and had the PDK replaced in 2013 about 20k miles ago. I have a year left of CPO and want to make sure this is sorted out before warranty expires.

Get thee to a dealer while you still have a warranty. Now is the time to document with Porsche any issues with the car.

You are simply hearing the locking mechanism.

Shouldn't he be concerned to hear a new clunk noise from his transmission?
I understand if it was there from the beginning but it is not in this instance.
I would be concerned, I would take it to the dealership, (especially because he has already experienced one pdk failure already)

All transmissions do that to one extent or another.

How common is PDK failure? I have heard that it is a $17,000 repair.
