I just found out it's also used to recruit Trump protesters at 16.00 an hour - all kinds of scum activity there.

At that price, car has to be salvage title, beat to crap from NYC, and all kinds of other undesirables.

Actually, ad states it's a clean title. You never know, it might be an undercover gem. Thought i'd post it here, maybe someone will get a steal.

With the resale values of the 997 now, there is seriously no reason for me to every sell mine. Heck, I couldn't even buy a new Civic with the revenue. Instead, I'll just upgrade it with fancy aftermarket GT3 accessories and enjoy it.

Same here. And my Mercedes C63...and my S2000....

Pretty quick to spot a sketchy seller if you just get them on the phone instead of impersonal emails.

Weird. I literally saw this car parked on the street in the upper east side NYC location 2 weeks ago.

Not everyone is as crazy and enthusiastic as us.
To some they are just cars.
Opportunity can hide anywhere.
So can scammers.
If your looking, go in with eyes wide open.

Totally agree. I know a guy that picked up a 993 (automatic) for about $20k a year or two ago. The car only had 40k miles and is in great shape. The seller didn't drive it much and wasn't even selling it. The guy saw it in the garage and made an offer and the deal was done.

Sold my Pathfinder on CL. I dunno why people are so down on CraigsList. As if murders and scammers don't read AutoTrader or Cars.com.

I buy and sell a ton of stuff on CL. For my software company I hired software engineers off CL who have worked out just fine. Do your homework and screen and you'll be fine.
