PCM Delete + Bluetooth solutions?
Looking into doing a PCM delete on my 997.2 which is working fine, but seems to have a parasitic draw? I don't use the nav, and like the look of the radio delete on the 997.2 cars.
Wondering if anyone has seen or done this while adding a bluetooth connection to the speakers? Found some older threads where this has been asked within the thread, but have not seen a response.

I know that you can get a small bluetooth amp off of amazon, but not sure how i would go about integrating into the bose, or if an amp is even necessary if the bose system has its own amp.
be sure to update here if you find anything!

to work with a M.O.S.T. adapter like these:

or maybe this:

I've looked at this as well, I have PCM with no AUX input on a 997.2 which drives me a bit nuts.
So aftermarket head unit install use a MOST adapter box like this
You will lose fader and EQ control so set it how you want it before pulling the PCM.
Anything that then outputs a stereo pair should mate up and work.
The other option is to replace the Bose amp and mate something direct to that but I think that would be more expensive and time consuming as you have to get to the amp under the passenger seat (997.2 so the amp is there on that generation)
The Bluetooth control **** posted above looks like it only works with the 4 band parametric EQ so I'm not sure that will work, in 'theory' any BT receiver outputting a stereo pair should work but your only controls will be on the phone.
Not seen anyone actually do this as yet, keep us posted!

As for location, I was thinking to print up a hole and fix it to the inside wall of the radio delete shelf.
Unfortunately, my car is in the middle of a heart transplant and coil overs are out on a date with Bilstein in SoCal for a rebuild so I can't even take it off of my lift right now. Otherwise, I would start tearing radio **** apart.

Are you saying that the BT controller that I posted will not work? I thought I might have a small chance since its output is simply a 3.5mm jack..

I was exploring this as well with my engineering buddy. really interested as well - let me know what you come up with.
I'm between that or waiting on the PCCM. in the interim I did do a sony carplay head unit with a **** and painted my whole center console black a-la 997.2, ran the USB into center console.

I've ordered a couple different BT controllers to try out.
I tried to order an axxess unit on ebay, but the seller kicked back and said it was actually out of stock.
I'm kicking around the idea of going for one of the cheapo units on aliexpress. it seems the axxess unit has an extra module...for nav items? don't need those...
all I see connecting to the axxess fiber interface is +, -, acc, remote turn on, left audio, and right audio.
the aliexpress unit is missing the remote turn on. do our cars use that wire?

I believe it's this one:
From Crutchfield
We were considering doing a marine bluetooth system like this:
Not this actual one - i just did a quick google search.
I also really wanted a **** i would have mounted into the radio delete cubby.
I only stopped researching because my favorite head unit popped up for sale here on rennlist anyway. They don't make it anymore and i couldn't pass it up.

well, I've ordered all of the parts for this experiment...hopefully bilstein can get my suspension back to me sometime soon so I can at least put my car on the floor and try this out.
Will post some kind of update soon. good or bad.

Depends if you are talking about 997.1 or 997.2. I've received all of the parts for 997.1 that I believe should work. My car is on the lift with no suspension right now so once Bilstein sends my coilovers back to me and my car is on the ground, I will be able to give it a try.
In theory, it should also work the same for 997.2 as long as you purchase the correct M.O.S.T. box.
