Got the side grills installed the other day and they fit great. The price on these is just right for a quality product vs. $$ for rennline grilles vs. the time needed to do full DIY. 5 minutes to install and Bob's yer uncle...love it!

Thanks again!

I just saw this thread, and have a question on the install for the side grills on a 997.2. I have a Zunsport center grille that I installed 2 years ago and love it, but apparently the installation for the sides grilles that mount BEHIND the fins requires the removal of the bumber

It looks like these side grilles mount behind the fins (which is what I'm looking for!). So what's the install DIY for these side grilles for a 2010 C4S Cab?

Thanks for the info on these!

They are zip tied to the existing Porsche guard/fins. You'll need to remove the existing Porsche guard (snap in and out), insert the aftermarket guard, re install the Porsche guard then zip tie the after market screen to the Porsche guard. It takes 10min per side.

We have the same car (2010 C4S cab) -- and I installed Chicago's side grills. No need to remove bumper, but I fed them through the center --if you have that screened already that may not work. Also, do not need to remove the black slanted vertical member holding the horizontal silver fins in place --- at least not with the earlier version of the grills I have, because they don't mount flush to the horizontal fins (due to their rubber perimeter), and I actually used that vertical piece as a zip tie point.

I suspect ChicagoSpeed's current versions have evolved to be an even better fit, and I like this mod generally a lot. Good luck.

Ps it helps to use some child labor to install 😜

Installed mine last night - a bit of tight fit on a GTS but I really like the final product. Now I need a center grill, but the GTS is different from other 997.2 models so I am going to make a template and send to Chicago Mike and see what he can do. Thanks Mike!

Glad you like them Ralph! A suggestion, looks like the left grill could be shifted and the cable ties for the center can be placed under the horizontal bars to be hidden.

See if you can shift the left grill to the left and re-cable tie, should look even better!

Wondering if any of 'Chicago's' customers are seeing any difference in oil temperatures pre and post install of the grills? Thanks,
