Default C2 -> GTS Front Bumper change

Does anyone know if replacing the original 997.2 C2 front bumper cap to a GTS front bumper require any additional parts? I have a C2 and love the GTS front bumper. I'm looking to replace that but am not sure if replacing the original bumper will require other parts to make that bumper fit properly. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks.

you will need

- bumper
- new grills on both sides (even though you would think they are the same grills on your current c2 bumper)
- center retaining frame (MAYBE) + centre air scoop and + 2 L+R radiator shrouds you SHOULD reuse from your current car... the design is so similar; but for a PERFECT fit i would confirm with dealer.

you will also need the new front lip for the gts bumper... won't be too difficult for you to do the conversion imo

Good idea, you'll love it!

Frontal Snap

Angle shot. While you're at it, you might consider the GT2 side skirts that also come with GTS as shown here.

Wow, nice curves!

F it, just get the GTS.

My front bumper needs to get replaced. What's the budget for this? So many kits out there I have no clue what to do.

Roughly $4k parts/paint/install at a shop. DIY will save labor but not parts.

Wow! Great replies from all! Many thanks! I did not think that doing the conversion would entail so many "other" parts but it doesn't seem too bad! Thanks for the pictures too! Ultimately, a manual GTS would be ideal instead of trying to look like one! haha!
