Default New owner checking in

Hello 997 crowd
This weekend I went to pick up my first 911, after a looong period of searching for THE car. My "want list" was quite long, but when the right car came along and the car chekked out OK, it was time.

I ended up with 95% the spec. I would have gone for if I had chance back when new.

997.1 Carrera 4S
Manuel
Sports Chrono plus
Atlas Grey over dark grey leather with black trim.
Adaptive sports seats
PASM
Rain sensor/auto. dim mirros
Park sensor
Navigation/ Phone
Cruise
No rear wiper, and no multi func. steering wheel. '
PSE
AND the X51 WLS 381hk option

The car have been on the Porsche Approved warenty until now (not avalible after 10 years) This gives me some confidence that it is a sorted car, I hope. The owner present all the documents and history with the car, even down to pictures of a tiny 1/4" parking scrath that was repaired once.

The car was inspected at the dealer and changed to winter wheels, where the mechanic made a very serius note, NOT to go above 240kmh on the winter tires back home on the autobahn.....

Anyway, 1200 km road trip thru germany back to DK, and car is now cleaned up and in the garage waiting for spring....

I am sure I will have a lot of questions, some allready popping up.

Below before depature heading north. The winter wheels are Carrera S wheels painted body color, not really my taste. I also got a set og Sport Design wheels for the. I think i prefer the Carrera S, back to silver for summer

That's a sweet find! A rare Atlas Gray 4S with X51 at that. Very nice options all around. It certainly seems like you did very very well. Congrats and welcome.

Thanks for the kind welcome.

All the minor winter tweaking has started...

New battery + tender charger hook up
New color crest center caps
Interior clean up and TLC
Got some new front floor mats on order

... not sure how I will make the next month’s pass by, as I still have not had the car thru the official road registration process.

You'll probably just find excuses to spend money on "fixing" the car...I know I have. Though, drive it when you can, winter won't kill the car.

Congrats; the car looks fantastic.
