Default Lexus LC500 vs 911

Most 997 enthusiasts don't like the look and added turbo of 991, coupling with the fact it is getting too big and GT for hardcore fans. Now Lexus introduced the LF-LC concept a reality with NA V8 engine making 467 hp, if you are in the market for a new car "would you take LC500 over 991.2?"

I have never driven a Lexus that did it for me--and I own a Lexus.

That Lexus is a wicked looking car and will sell well. I really like it. But it's not a sports car. It's more of a GT cruiser.

But for a segment of Porsche drivers that might just fit their needs.

I bet it is technological marvel - in and out. But I don't like spaceships on wheels.

OK, after looking at several views of it, it stinks. A bit overdone with just enough of an SC in it to make me a little ill.

That thing is grotesque. Anyone even thinks they like it now, guaranteed, will be embarrassed to be reminded of that opinion ten years from now.

I'd consider it. Unlike the others that have mentioned they've never driven a Lexus that "did it for them," I had an ISF that the I enjoyed very much and miss from time to time. My 997.2 is clearly the better sports car, but the ISF was a fun vehicle as well, and one I'd daily drive over the Porsche if I were to have just one vehicle.

So yeah, I'd consider it.

Considering no one has driven it here, I'd imagine the question is best posted as: Do you like the way this car looks?

Sounds like my friends and family who 'LOVE!' this car or that, because they like the way it looks.

The Lexus is a sharp car, with very Japanese-ish styling cues (that tend to wear on me) and face that a mother might not love in ten years. Killing it with that grill, Lexus?

So, it's a pretty good looking car with styling cues that probably won't hold up.
