Stainless steel turns kind of a golden color due to heat. I just checked my exhaust and it's not magnetic, so probably stainless. Personally I think it looks cool - it's a sign Porsche used a nice material for the exhaust. You can remove them and polish them with different kinds of abrasive wheels to turn them a shiny silver color, but it's a ton of work and they'll go right back to gold colored after being used / heated a bit. You can get some of the nastier looking bits looking much nicer, but they'll eventually go back to being tarnished due to being under the car unless you're always cleaning them. If you really want the pipes to stay silver, you could look into getting your exhaust ceramic coated.

Thanks for the feedback gents. I think I'm going to do a high temp flat black on the cat pipes and couplings. I'll report back with results. If all else fails i'll just replace with aftermarket
