It does appear to be in great condition with a good history and well optioned.

I was thinking about the time of year, I have only been watching the market closely for the last couple months but I tossing around the idea that there would be MORE inventory coming spring. Perhaps those cars all tucked away in the garage for winter will be out! At least for 997.2 and late .1 there seems to be less supply now that November. But perhaps that is my imagination.

Check back in April when its still for sale, seller should have taken 45k, that's all the money for that car.

John Wright at PNH posted a gorgeous 2007 C2S 997.1 last year. He was asking $45,000. This car had, what, 15,000 miles, with ceramics, full leather, 18-ways; the car was killer and probably the cleanest 997.1 I have seen. If you are going to spend $45,000, hold out for a car like THAT, as $45,000 is a LOT of money for a 997.1 (outside of something like a club coupe).

2009 C4S Manual for $39.9k: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto...812702182.html
Talked to seller a few weeks back, nice, straightforward guy, car appeared clean, and worth looking at. Car is in the Reno area.
Seller also had on eBay and said he had offer of $38,000
I passed and bought a local 997.1 C4S for less.

I’ve been looking for a low mileage 997.1 or 997.2 for a few months. I am yet to see one that is an S with a good service history, Clean CARFAX, 1 or 2 owners, manual transmission come to the market with a sub 40K price tag. 50K plus mile cars with multiple owners at a Toyota lot yes, but not a true top tier car. If someone can fine me a 997.1 C2S with 30K miles, SC, manual trans, thats not black and has a dark interior for sub 40K I’m all ears. Or a 997.2 base with PASM, MT, SC in the mid 40’s I’d bite. I have seen some 997.2 bases in the low 40’s but they have no options.

A great way to check private party price is to call a good dealer with the VIN, and see what they would buy the car for. Add 7-8% to that number.

I bought my 20k mile, 2 owner, manual, White with factory aero, for 46,500 at the beginning of Dec. 18. It's damn near mint, all factory records and locally owned and maintained.
I probably paid a bit on the high end, for December, but knew that the car wouldn't last. Matter of fact, while I was filling out the paperwork, two guys came in looking for it. I think that cherry 997.1 are pretty rare.
