Folks - with the market softening, how much do we think 997.2 values will be affected? I have the opportunity to purchase a clean 997.2 4S, 6MT, Sport PASM, 57K miles. Price would be in the high 50’s. Seems like a deal today, and no one can truly predict the future, but what does Rennlist think this car would be worth a year or two from now with maybe 10K additional miles. I’m thinking I could get in and out of it without losing too much $, but I’d love a reality check.

Disgusting.

Please send me the sellers email/number so I can give them a stern talking to.

/s

Seriously though, this is about $10k-$15k too cheap and you need to get off Rennlist and get the ball rolling on this one.

Yeah, depending on what it was (miles and history), it was probably a scam.

Here is a pretty recent and relevant comp:

2009 C4S 6MT with 58k miles, sold for $72k + 5% BaT fee… $75,600!

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...a-4s-coupe-17/

If this checks out this is the deal of the century, so OP should proceed with caution.

If he gave a link or info, I’d start the process myself, and I already have a 997.2.

If I sold my 997.2 C2 Coupe w/ Manual and 51k miles, I’d price it in the mid to upper $50’s, shooting for mid-$50’s.

I do have quite a bit of preventative maintenance and a slick 991.2 GT new OEM steering wheel and new OEM airbag too.

Assuming the car is a coupe and doesn't have any major issues, go buy it.
