I'm a newb and certainly not an expert, but I've found that if you can find one priced at the KBB private party value, and the car checks out, then it's probably a good buy. The KBB private party value seems to be below market value from what i've seen. The KBB private party value on the car you're looking at is around $40k.

Sadly no sales tax credit on trade-ins in CA. It's one of the good reasons for leasing cars in CA for those that don't keep new cars for long. You only pay sale tax for the portion you rent.

Here's a good deal, they seem to pop up from this dealer in TX pretty regularly. It's had an accident, probably a minor rear end collision. I'd be happy to take that for the apparent $5k+ discount.

For anyone interested, this vehicle sold at a Floriday auction today for $37,200 bid (about $550 extra in auction fees) so look out for it online for $45K+ very soon!
