Another carmax car (FL): https://www.carmax.com/car/16930608 - 2012 GTS with LSD and LWB, 33k miles and only $58k.
Got excited, called them and tried to transfer it to my local store, said it's non-transferable so I just said put it on hold and I would fly to Florida on the weekend. After hanging up, clicked some more and saw it had a FRONT IMPACT WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE. I guess it was too good to be true.

Not the best pics quality wise but the car looks good.

Just worked with my local Carmax to have it transferred to California. The issue earlier was that Carmax didn't have the title yet, so they were waiting to get it before being allowed to transfer out of state. It will cost me $999 to have it shipped but I think it might be worth the risk.

The only thing I would probably change is the rear spoiler, just not a big fan of them.

Oh wait, nevermind...Bore Scoring! They better give me $30k off for the guaranteed engine rebuild I will have to perform next month.

You guys crack me up...
Really, the issue will likely be the quality of the repairs and paintwork done to the car. I've personally looked at three different 991s at Carmax that had really obvious, really bad paintwork done to them. Now it still might be worth it even if that is the case, particularly if you want it as a driver and aren't super picky about cosmetics.
Often the ones that get traded into carmax are the cars that a Porsche dealer didn't want to buy (or super-lowballed) due to cosmetic or other issues that wouldn't make it a great fit for a dealer. Not always, but often.

BTW, my car is available...
Really though, it's tempting. Looks like a really nice car... If it was local I'd be stopping over this weekend to take a closer look, but I hate making these decisions on sight-unseen cars and never seem to have the time to travel and look at out of town ones.

Well, if you do want to come see it, I promise it won't disappoint. If you aren't impressed with the condition, the plane ticket is on me!
