Looks really clean. I'm in the market for a 997.1 in the low $30s and with 60-90k miles... But this 09 is kind of tempting and optioned close to my perfect spec.
They paid $27,500 for it at the auction last week. I am sure there is some room to negotiate

Figure they've got a few grand in transporting it, cleaning it up, fixing anything that was obviously wrong, paying someone to shoot pics, make the listing, shuffle the car around. I wouldn't expect them to move too much, it's already very cheap for a 997.2, let alone an S.

Front paint match looks pretty decent, some pretty bad driver's seat wear but otherwise notbad

I called and there is a deposit on it. The price seems crazy low for a no accident GT Silver turbo with sport seats, even with high miles. On the flip side the Carfax report has very sporadic service history (for what that's worth) and the car is wearing mismatched tires. My bet is it's going to need some money spent on deferred maintenance.

That car is very rough. The front and rear bumper are poorly matched respray. The lip on the font bumper is ill-fitting. The interior looks mistreated. It has almost 90k miles. I don't think it's any kind of "deal" no matter the price. It's ratted out.

Good catch on the mismatched tires, that's usually not a good sign. The interior didn't look obscenely worn for the miles to me and metallic silvers are notorious for looking like they've had bad resprays, so I'm not sure on that. It's gone from their site so I guess the buyer is following through.

Seems Decent, at what mileage does the price really start to drop?
When would you not pay over 35k for a 997.2 C2S specifically?

Good news - that is a factory Aerocup car!

If that car has no accidents it'll be gone by the weekend. That front bumper cover is not an aerokit version so i'm guessing it had a run-in that required replacing it and they replaced it with the wrong version.

a clean 997.2 C2S even at 100k miles plus is rarely going to be at $35k. 997.1 C2S maybe.

Its such a shame that the vast majority of GTS’ are PDK.

True but PDK is much more desirable than Tiptronic. Some who would buy a PDK would never buy a Tip.

I compared 0-60 times for a 2006 Tip 4S coupe and my 2011 PDK 4S cab and they are very close. I have a little more hp and a little more weight and should prevail but overall I don't think tips are that bad. They've won a lot of races at all levels to the best of my knowledge.

Some of these deals lately look really good until you dig down.
