I'd say that's more than minimal water intrusion. Halfway up the door means the seat bottoms and carpet got hit, the center console and perhaps the radio and climate controls. It looks like it as not too muddy though. So if was bought at 16K, and lets say they spent 2K to take it apart and dry it out, at 41K selling price, that,s a big profit an a salvage car. As others have said, getting insurance on this for full coverage would be problematic. Only an idiot would pay 41K for this thing.

2009 C2S manual with Aerokit, 100k miles, $39k

With pictures texted to me from the dealer. Carfax shows damage.
Thumbs up or down? Going for test drive, will arrange a ppi. I'm not a fan of the aerokit, but something's gotta give.

Aerokit is either OEM added after purchase or aftermarket. Front looks OEM and is usually the same cost as aftermarket all said and done but wing could go either way.
Can anybody pull a carfax for it they can post: WP0AB29919S722025
Here's the option list showing no aerokit...

For a 997.2 C2S even with the accident, if a PPI comes back with small or no red flags, i'd scoop this up in a heartbeat if i were in the market. if the aero bits are OEM they are worth $3k-$5k depending on condition

Aloha Everyone. Have been looking for a 997.2 C4S with a manual transmission and less than 50k miles for a while, but they're really hard to find. So, I expanded the filter to include 997.1 cars and non-S 997.2 C4 cars, and found this one.

Personally, I thought the options listed were really good, with some tasteful aftermarket parts installed. The downside is the 5 previous owners. What do you folks think?

I’ve been looking at 997.2’s for a while now, and it seems 991’s are a better deal.
Looking at non cab’s, and manual, preference rwd but open to a 4.
997.2’s min price $40K usually with 60k+ miles
991’s min price $60k with sub 30k miless.
Just from a pure cost of ownership over say the next 5yrs perspective, it seems the 991s are a much better value. What are others thoughts? Am
I missing something? Again just talking pure value/cost to own.
