Priced right for the mileage, IMO, as it is a fairly typical build and color: PDK, SC, full leather, but not PSE, sport seats, sport suspension, aerokit. I have seen similar C2S models in the low 50's with that mileage. Maybe they overestimated demand? Even that price would have been considered pricey 2 years ago!

Yeah, that car is priced right due to CPO I would say. I paid slightly more for my C2S, but a higher build with PSE, SPASM, and being meteor gray over black. Also mine is a 2011, CPO. Finding a CPO 997.2 for under $55k I would say is going to be very challenging. The nice ones are typically between $60-65k for CPO, and a similar car could be $5k-7k less all else being equal without CPO.

How is your C4 treating you? I also have my eyes on a C4 but a 997.1 with low miles. I don't really need AWD because I live in the south but can't resist the wide hip it possess. Does your C4 have the option to make it RWD only?

yeah, but it’s a CPO. That warranty and having all wear items basically new and up-to-date services can be worth a hella lot of cash . . . Major service, serpentine and PDK service due to age, new tires, new brakes and a comprehensive warranty could set one back $8k ish???

His $71k asking is top of the market for a car like this even with the super low mileage. It would be much more desirable in MT over PDK. That's just how the second and third owner market for 911's goes.

Mid to high $60s i don't think it too far off for a garage queen like this. It's an all show, no go car. No SPASM or LSD but tons of leather and Porsche Exclusive options.

If its a 997.2 C4S, it does have the LSD as standard equipment. All 997.2 C4S's do. On the 997.1 C4S it was an option.

I think $71k is too much for a for a non GT, non turbo 997.2, but the car is priced accordingly due to miles and some purchasing these cars focus heavily on miles. No a bad idea if one is purchasing as a second or third car and wants to keep the car fairly liquid and depreciation to a minimum. As far a all show no go, this car is all go just as much as any other 997.2 and I personally like have the aesthetic upgrades in my Porsches to se them a part from the ordinary.

On here, the preference seems to be for manual cars, but I am not so sure about this in the open market. PDK is better than manual performance wise and true paddle shifters actually seem more sporty and consistent with a super car, race car feel. I was a die hard manual hold out . . . mainly because I was so good a manual after racing them 30 years it gave me an advantage over younger, less experienced racers. As much as I love the feel and sound of gated shifters, I am about to pick up an R8 garage queen and the paddles are just more suited, fun and consistent with the sound of that V10. My 991.2 Turbo is also pdk and I would have it no other way after having the following turbos in manual: 89, 91, 94, 97, 98, 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2008, My 2012 turbo was pdk as was my 991.1 GT3 obviously . . . ., but hey, my 2017 F80 ZCP is a manual so I do still buy manuals.

you’re correct. Didn’t see it was a 4.

Convertible
PDK
AWD

three strikes right there for a ‘go’ car.
GTSs are still in the $70s all day for clean avg mile cars.

Agree $71k is too much for this but if you’re the seller that’s not an egregious ask if you’re giving yourself wiggle room to come down. If he had said $80k the phone wouldn’t even ring.

That is loaded 991 C2S manual cab money! With a few more miles, sure, and although I prefer the 997 shape in the coupe, the 991 easily gets the nod for the cab. It is a much better looking car than the ant-butt 997 Cab, with better weight distribution.

The perfect modern 911 quiver is a 997.2 coupe and a 991.1 cab. JMHO.

Agreed! I would be all over that if I were in the market. A similar mileage option S sold recently here private party for 36. Seems like a base would be around 6000 less

That is a lot of car for the money! Where else can you spend 30 grand and get that kind of performance?

As everyone is harping on buying a .2 over a .1
for the money, is a non S .2 a better buy than a .1 S? Mileage being 40-60k
