You can switch to steel rotors now for lots less than replacing the ceramics. But with low miles on the PCCB they are probably fine unless they are chipped or something. It's should be an easy check to ask for.

White GTSs look fantastic in-person. The images in the autotrader ad are blown out. Contrast and brightness are too high.

The black bits on the GTS exterior compliment white (and red IMO) best. They are wasted on a black car like mine.

These pics capture it well IMO.

I wouldn't be concerned about the PCCB. Like those above said, just check to be sure they are not chipped, buy steelies and mothball the PCCBs. That rear bumper is in rough shape though. That right bumperette is definitely off and needs some attention.

This car will go for around $67 to the normal buyer. Even with the Carfax ding, this ticks every collector box: 6MT, LSD, SPASM, SC, PCCB and kept the centerlocks. No Sport Buckets and the stupid multifuntion wheel is a real bummer though. Would have also liked to see yellow belts and painted center console.

I cannot imagine this sitting for long. Great weekend and C&C car... to many options for a track car though.

Agreed...white is beautiful on the GTS IMO.
Multi-function wheel makes more sense on a manual car, as do adaptive sport seats for a daily driver.

Maybe, but the issue is you have to give up the Sport Design Steering Wheel which was unique to the GTS at the time for the standard wheel. Multifunction wheels are for DDs, not barnstormer, weekend canyon cars. And agree to disagree on the seats. Can easily see one going either way there since the AS seats are supportive enough.

At least they aren't the standard seats seen on many GTS cars. Also nice it has PDLS.

Out of my price range, but if no accidents (didn't check) not a bad deal for an 09. It doesn't have too many desirable options, but not bad imo.

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...4370/overview/

Not much info on this, but priced super low.

Are you still in contact with Porsche Beachwood on the 997 Turbo that they have? Or are you no longer interested?

What is the story on this car? Lapis Blue, decently priced, supposedly recently serviced with nice mods. Cars like this don't come up at 3rd party dealers unless there is something wrong, right?

My old car, listed at a dealer now. Very, very clean manual 997.2 C4 in Arctic Silver. Has never seen a car wash, all records, no track time, solid 9/10 both inside and out. Has H&R springs, Bilstein B8 suspension, integrated laser scrambler, Gundo hack.

Nice looking car... Catless exhaust might be a turn off for some, and while the mods all look quality, many of us prefer to buy unmodified cars unless we know ALL the details of who/what/when/where on any mods.

Interior at first glance looks a bit worn for 37k miles?

I went to look at this car a couple of weeks ago, since it is local to me, and the guy said that "they had sold it yesterday and it was loaded on a truck" apparently that deal fell through though even though he said all of that. If someone was interested I would recommend they call. Considering that car lost It's Turbo wheels and went to Carrera Classic wheels, and has some other mods I would probably proceed carefully. And that dealer in particular has a wide variety of cars, but many of them at least cosmetically need some work.

Very hard to get past emissions with no cats. Not sure how you can do that. With no cats it has to have a tune or it would not run right. So who's tune is it? What else has been messed with? I'd say this is a pass unless you want adventure. Lapis blue with coco interior is pretty weird too. It's an odd modified duck.
