Gas Mileage

Gas Mileage
I searched to see if there was a thread on this, but couldn't find.
What sort of mileage are you all getting? I seem to be stuck in the 17-18 for my commute to work, and 22-24 for highway. Pretty normal?
I've a 2007 C4s.

With a lot of highway, I am getting 25 MPG....

09 Targa 4s with PDK. I see somewhere between 15-18 mpg when travelling to work (City, but one long stretch with no lights). Otherwise, about 15 in the city. On the highway, I don't think I've ever gotten more than 22-23 mpg.
I believe the official numbers call for 28 mpg on the highway. Has anyone ever seen that?
Now that I'm thinking about it, can you calibrate the gas calculation? I've never actually confirmed if the numbers were correct, maybe they could be off and it simply needs to be re-calibrated (assuming it's possible to do that).

If you are so concerned about MPG, there are a lot of alternatives that will take you to 36 MPG and more.

Three Wheelin'
20.5 on a long cruise and nowhere to run (stuck doing 45-65). Always figured the AeroKit was essentially just drag (stability and downforce = drag).
But I don't run below 3,000 RPM... so that long cruise was 4th gear a lot and sometimes 5th gear. Never slid it into 6th.
I think I am at 19.0 now, which is high for a combined. When I just do fun runs, it's in mid-teens to about 17.5.

Way lower than that and on open freeways rarely above 20. PAG bends its back backwards to lower gas mileage. I guess they know their new customers... Sports cars are usually 2nd or 3rd cars and increasing their design complexity to make them competitive with Corollas is a consequence of the stupid political/social climate we are living.

Engineer here. So I totally understand being interested in the numbers. I've been recording all my fill-ups on my '09 C4S since I bought it in January.
I drive mine to work, and the commute is about half city and half highway. Here's a screen shot from my phone app, showing all sorts of stats regarding my fuel usage.
Additionally, I know I got 10.4 mpg during the PCA HDPE in October.
