Can the Fisters be added to a non-S?

Ok, here's mine: 2007 Targa 4S. I don't have the mirror whistling problem that some posters have mentioned. I have to say that I love it; of course, I've loved all my 911s.

I'm more jealous of Targa's more than Turbo's. If something makes me sell my 997s, it will be a targa. I'm smitten by the 991 targa tho.

That's a cool color Volnomad! I don't think I've ever seen one that color.

Do you have a bigger photo album of that targa, Volnomad?

Is that color available for PTS? /ducks

That's great.

I used a 3" electrical type tape from uline.
The downside of this tape is that it shrinks over time. I will be going with the plastidip or vinyl wrap route next.

Same. 2009+ Targa 4S manual was my number one car. 8 months of looking and I settled on a 997.1S. Still looking, but only once a week vs. twice daily.

I'm thinking that the vinyl wrap might be the way to go. The pastidip looks good, but am not sure how well it will hold up over time.

I know you can buy black vinyl wrap on ebay and what not for pretty cheap. Most of it seems to be a 5 foot length, though, which may not be enough to do the stripe as one piece. I think you can get longer length's, but haven't really checked.

I still need to take some better pics of my car. It looks great with the green and black.
I'm curious how it holds up to several years of use and washing. Do report back.

David - yes, I believe they can. Check out FD Motorsports on the web - you can email or call. When you order you specify the engine and transmission and Darin will confirm he has a set of mufflers for your car. He has versions for old and new 911's. He makes a set out of used mufflers and then you send him back your used ones and he mods those for the next guy, etc.. Mine are going on next Monday (11/23).

Russ
