Congrats. Please tell us more about your car. Maintenance, things you've had to fix, etc.

Old thread but my 2005 C2 is at 96,964 in the garage at this moment (just did rear brakes and rotors, only reason I looked). Gave me a great idea though, gotta get a picture when it hits 97,997. ****, have to remember to pay attention though. Daily driver, and I a beat the crap out of it. It's a car so should be driven, after all...

Damn, the only way my car will ever see 100k is if I sell it! I'm at 54K and drive 2K miles per year. At that rate it would take another 23 years.

In terms of a true raw sports car, the Porsche 911 model out shines them all IMO. What other raw sports car can make 100K+ miles without a rebuild or something catastrophic....in general terms? Basically, the 911 has the stamina of a Toyota but with so much more fun added. Note, I have not googled, researched other sports cars with the same claim. Has anyone?

Passed 119K miles on the way to work today. Still continue to be wonderfully impressed 8)

My 997.2 has only 50K right now. However, I had a BMW E30 that accumulated 1/2 million miles on an original unopened engine.
I used it to commute from LA to the Bay area once a week. I got it back in 1980s and back then it only used conventional oil but oil change was done every 5000 miles. The car never smoked or consume oil. To this date I still kick myself for selling it
