Main thing is you came through it uninjured.
Hurts to lose a nice car like that though.
Have your thoughts started turning towards what you're going to replace it with yet? For me, that would be the silver lining on the whole debacle...

Glad to hear you're relatively OK.
When something like this happened to me I was in a Lotus Europa. The 1962 Ford Galaxy 500 tore the front clip off leaving my feet hanging in the air.
It's good to see your 911 took the hit from a much larger vehicle as well as it did!
The car can be replaced. Good luck.

Wow. Glad you are OK. I hope you were well insured to make up for the loser in the SUV's lack. Do us all a favor, sue the other driver. She'll never be able to pay but you can make sure she never forgets the obligation.

She might be down on her luck. We all have personal problems but it is nice to give someone the benefit of doubt.
Then again, she deserves to be in jail if this is not her first offense.

Terrible. Glad you're ok. Just hope your insurance company doesn't come up with some crazy idea to fix that thing.

Although I agree with you there might be a small chance of her paying her debt, Let's not make assumptions and have faith in others.

What liberal fairy tale land do you live in? She committed a felony hit and RUN.

This is horrible, but at least you seem like you are okay.
I have friends that do a large amount of insurance litigation - these types of cases are all too commonplace, unfortunately. I had a lady do the same thing to me a month ago - she was driving a RAV4. I was luckily able to slam on my brakes with no one behind me, to avoid a collision.
Be careful out there!

Glad you're alright, although it sucks to have something like this happen, you've come out of it in good health. Hoping for a good outcome for you and a return to another P-car!

because she has no insurance, she probably has no assets and therefore you insurance company will have no way to recoup on damages. They'll write it off as a loss. This means they will be more inclined to give you the shaft because it's their dime.
