I had an alloy **** on a subaru years ago. Freezing in winter, boiling in summer. Never again.

This would be nice if it had a Delrin **** instead of brushed steel/aluminum. My track car has a Ralli///Art weighted Delrin **** and it's fantastic.

A metal **** will be like holding a furnace-fresh, glowing steel ingot in the summer, and like handling a snowball in the car in the winter.

This may be a slight exaggeration.

I installed a weighted metal **** in my Z3 years ago in Germany. Even with the seasonal changes in temperatures, it didn't bother me at all. It either warmed up or cooled down pretty quickly from my hand's heat transfer.

I'd much rather have a leather covered shifter **** than a plastic ****.

The leather will wear, seams will fail, etc.

White delrin will not.
