You kidding? Your car is awesome. Full cocoa leather is fantastic and the wheels look great.

Enjoy!

Thanks again for the comments. I pick it up tomorrow afternoon. Going to be a sleepless night. The ceramics sealed the deal for me. The front calipers are insanely large. Not looking forward to ever replacing them, but hopefully I can get another 50K out of them. I know the big reds are better for the track, but I don't plan to go very often. I feel extremely fortunate to own a 911 of any model. Almost bought a 993 back in December, but something kept me gravitating to the 997. More bang for your buck. I respect the air cooled 911's and can understand why they have a cult following, but like the 997 lines and interior. That air cooled sound though is intoxicating. Looking forward to being part of the club. By the way ever car I see in the signatures makes me want to work harder in my career. Sad part is I can't bring it to work because people tend to get jealous and I don't need the drama. I'm sure some people can relate to office politics.

Here are two more pictures.....Plan to give an honest feedback on the car once i get some miles on her.

It's been a boy hood dream (like that commercial) and finally decided to make the leap. I wish I would have done it sooner, but needed to be financially responsible and every time I went to buy one I backed out. Kept telling myself I need to save more and I will get one in a few years. Fast forward 7-8 years (LOL). Wow has time flown by in a flash. I am sure I am not alone in this thinking. I am about to turn 41 and figured enough is enough. You never know how long you have on this earth. Anyways, looking forward to being a contributor on this forum for years to come. My current garage queen has been demoted to daily driver. New car will be restored wherever there are issues. Nothing is perfect, but I plan to make it as close as possible.

Current Daily - BMW Z4 3.0i 6 spd (trading it in) - been a great car!!!
New Daily Driver - E46 M3 LSB 6 spd (My first real car goal - had poster in my cube)
New Garage Queen - 997.1 S - Plan to use it on weekends

Detail - 06' 54k miles
Options - Pretty much loaded
Exterior - Silver
Interior - Brown (I was skeptical at first, but is nicer in person. Has a masculine cigar bar feel - tough to describe)

On to the pictures......
Welcome and congrats. That "brown" is actually Cocoa and is really nice interior. Very classy yet sporty.

Gorgeous color combo. I too just joined the club, picked up a Carmon Red over Sand '07 6-spd coupe yesterday. I have always loved the 911s since my grandfather took me skiing in his '71 911T. Had to wait until I hit 50 to get one but it was well worth the wait!

Picked it up today. Already went to dealer and got a filter and new drain plug. Did the first oil change after 5 miles and wrote the miles in the log book. Bottom of the engine was clean as a whistle. Also did used some quick detailer and got her dried off. Absolutely amazing to drive. I couldn't get on it since it's been raining all day. To my surprise - the car has AWE Tuning headers. I know it has the X51 airbox and who knows what else. I would assume if it has headers and airbox it most likely has a chip/tune. I am happy since I would have never spent the money to mod it. The real question is whether it came with the whole X51 package. Is there a way to tell? I plan on running the options list off Suncoast. Will it show up if it does?

Wheels - 19's Avant Garde Ruger Split - whoever ordered them got the offset perfect so there is no rubbing and flush with fenders. Definitely adds a more aggressive look while not being flashy. Color is Dolphin Grey

Got a few very minor things to fix, No used car is perfect. I am absolutely blessed to own such a fine piece of engineering. It really is like a piece of rolling art. I get it now...

Get a PCA for it and you will get the exact build sheet. The airbox alone is 3k. I dont know how to check to see if you have the whole kit. Others here will know.
