Thanks.

Each time I drive the car I am blown away by the improvement in handling.
The overall responsiveness of the suspension and the grip, plus lack of body roll in cornering are so much better.

The polished lip on your wheels really set it off, did a shop do that and if so how much?

Thanks - I had them done by a shop North of Atlanta. Cost was $1100 which included:
- tire removal/remount and balancing
- painting the wheels black as they were standard silver color previously (did not go with powder coat - went that route on the Cayenne Sport Design Wheels and they are a lot more difficult to touch up when needed)
- polished lip with lathe

Did they install a new dogbone on the rear suspension? And I see you kept the stock toe control arms. Were they able to keep the alignment within spec with the new springs and dampers?

Edit: Can you provide the toe and camber specs they dialed in at the four corners?

Correct - I had what looked like a worn rubber bushing on that dog bone so decided to replace. Control arms were not changed.
Here are the alignment specs.

Thanks emc2 for sharing your project and experience. I hope you can advice from your research, ior others from their experiences, I f installing the springs on a pasm car, are there other parts needed besides the springs to do this project properly or do we need extra parts like dogbone links or camber plates to keep alignment specs within tolerances?
Really like the drop on your car emc2

Should have gone through whole topic, I see you were within tolerance but more on the aggressive side with negative camber... I should have mentioned for a more street driven vehicle where tire life is important, are there any extra parts needed to maintain the less aggressive alignment

I like your style. Looks amazing. Love the Sport Design wheels in OEM look black with brushed rim. Is that the car the leather PDK surround went in? Congrats on setting it up exactly as you want it. ;-)

slicky rick - apologies I only just saw your post.
I did not research what was needed for PASM cars, but I believe the part number for the springs is the same for PASM and non PASM cars. (note there is a different part number for AWD and Turbo models)

I would therefore assume you don'n need any "special"l parts, but I would certainly suggested updating some of the wear items whilst in there as I did.

Thanks Ryan. I bought it from Suncoast and it was one of the best interior updates for the money + it only took a few minutes thanks to some really useful DIY videos on YouTube.
