Nope. I've had several Porsches with the Fister mod, it's the best sound of the multiple exhausts that I have tried.

The sound is awesome. Do the mod. Cheapest bang for the buck ever. Call Darin @ FD Motorsports and he can ship you a set with core return.

You won't be disappointed.

Just got mine installed last week. Love the sound. Was very concerned about the drone and kept my cores in case didn't like the sound. No issues whatsoever. Not too loud and on the highway sounds stock unless you get on it a bit and raise the rpm's but then it settles down again irrespective of speed. Call Darin and you won't be upset w the results.

I agree with the previous statements. It sounds fantastic and there is zero drone at any speed.

It's a must have mod for the 997!

I like the sound but the best part of doing the Gundo hack is what you don't hear--the farty sound of the stock mufflers.

I just did the PSE hack on my stock exhaust. Louder than stock, but not by much.

No drone whatsoever, though. I will Gundo the inlet/outlet pipes next weekend and see how that sounds.

Certainly more civilized than the muffler bypass pipes I had installed, prior ...

I have the Hanksville version of this mod compared to a similar car with the Fister D mod on YouTube, do a search.

I have a 2009 997.2 with the Fister Exhaust (more or less the same as a Gundo). No drone, and even civilized around the neighborhood if you keep it under 3k RPMs.

I'm in UTC if you wanted to come and check it out on Saturday.
