According to Highway Traffic Act reg's in Ontario and New York State it complies. I'm retired law enforcement and the other option won't work out so well.

Question: If you have a New York state plated vehicle and you are using this solution (legal per beers4all), would that imply that other states must accept this solution as legal (for NY state plated vehicles only) while the vehicle in question is driving through their state?
