Default Rain and Snow in Memphis!

I know its the CTTS and not the C2S, but thought I'd share. Pretty cool how the ice built up inside the wheel!!

Quite a lot of build up in the wheel. Likely to get some shake if you drive too fast.

Amazing too how much slush will accumulate in the wheel well. I drove my Boxster through a bad snow storm and when I finally was far enough out of it I could leave the main highway without fear of getting stuck every wheel well was so full of frozen snow/slush this stuff was almost touching the tire.

I found a DIY car wash with heated water and gave the car a thorough rinsing and melted all the accumulated snow and slush from not only in the wheels, but in the wheel wells and on top of the car at the spot just ahead of the windshield where the wipers had packed so much slush air flow into the cabin was affected and the heater couldn't blow enough volume of air to melt the stuff.

I bet the car lost several hundred pounds in weight as the hot rinse water melted the accumulation of frozen snow/slush from the car.

I can't imagine how bad it must be in Memphis with snow/ice. The drivers there are bad enough in dry conditions. Most southerners have only seen ice in a drink.

Memphis! Snow like that! Tough winter out there! For what it's worth, snow (converted to slush converted to ice) can limit a lot of things ... like max steering angle and suspension travel. And Macster is spot on about wheel balance. Best to hit the car wash ... soon!
