The chameleon - new (to me) malachite green 997.2
So, with great thanks to Porsche of North Scottsdale, and especially to Mr. Stephen Schwartz - whom I will recommend to any person looking for a P-car - I am FINALLY a 911 owner. I have had two previous P-Cars (928 S4 and a 944S), but none since 1997. I finally had to do it. So, I looked for a good car, in a good color (I like unusual colors) - and got a CPO, 2009 997.2 C2. I'm calling this post the chameleon because the color is so difficult to photograph - it changes a lot depending on the light - sometimes super saturated cool green, sometimes icy silvery green, sometimes almost yellowish green. I find it gorgeous.
My friend Dave and I drove it back to north Texas, stopping at fun places along the way and enjoying the driving dynamics, and amazing scenery of Arizona and New Mexico (until after Albuquerque into Texas - so dull even in a 911).
Here are some pics - hope you enjoy as much as I do!

Your car is stunning. That's a great color for a 911. The car looks pristine too.
I know what you mean about the chameleon color. My previous car was a darker green metallic and it always looked different depending on the light. Sometimes it looked almost black, other times blue, purple, or even green. It's the only car I've ever owned where people complimented the color. Green is definitely an unusual choice, but in a world of white, black, silver and grey cars, it's bound to draw positive attention.
Enjoy, and thanks for sharing the great pictures!

Thanks everybody - just washed the 1k miles return trip gunk and bug juice off it. Maybe more pics later today.
To answer the questions/comments:
1. The car has already drawn a TON of comments, and the valets at a couple of places have kept it in front of a hotel and a restaurant instead of parking it.
2. Wheels - They are the 19" Carrera Sport (not "Sport II") wheels with painted crest - the option was XRR
3. I will pm you street_rod, but it may be a while.
Another note about Porsche of n. Scottsdale - they don't appear to order stock in your normal colors or interiors. Just about everything on that lot had some pizzaz. They had some mexico blue cars, a yellow carrera cab, 3 different red tones on 5 different cars, a bunch of red interiors, and contrasting stitch interiors/multicolor interiors etc.
They delivered a voodoo blue 918, too. The one that was there was a silver "liquid metallic" paint or something. They also had a 1996 Turbo with 9k original miles. Don't ask how much that was...
