Anyone tint a 997.1 tail light turn signal?
Has anyone tinted their 997.1 tail light turn signals using red 3M film? If so, what were your results? I like the optional all red tail lights for the 997.1 but don't want to spend $500 to replace mine and also don't want to go the LED route. The pic below is the look I'm going for.
Also here are a couple links selling the tint film I'm talking about:

Don't do it to your beautiful 997, it will make it look cheap and trashy.
(EDIT: never seen the red, my comment is referring to the dark tint (especially bad on E46 M3's)

Completely agree about the black tail light tints, personally I do not like them either. My goal is to tint the turn signal part red, but in order to do that the film must cover the whole light it seems.
